This XR7-G car originally came from the dealership, Foster & Sons,
in Dallas, Texas. The owners at that time are unknown, but eventually
it was purchased by Cory Hitchcock of Granite Falls, Washington.
Then in
1997, it was acquired by Mike Willett and Tina Grant, were time was spent
rebuilding the motor and restoring the dash, trunk, and engine compartment.
Options on this car include A/C, AM/FM radio, PDB, PS, tilt, defogger,
deluxe belts, speed control, Cougar valve covers and air cleaner, tinted
glass, door edge guards, head rest and luggage rack. It's powered
by a 302-4V, backed by a C4 transmission.
Now its 2008 and the car has changed hands a few times. The newest
owner, Stephen Palmer of Kensington, Maryland and member of the Delmarva
Cougar Club, is completing it's restoration so it's heading to the body
shop for a full correct paint job and interior this March 2008. Updated
before and after pictures of the car will be coming soon. |
