Inside this car one finds maroon vinyl upholstery, A/C, tilt-a-away wheel, rear window defogger, AM/FM stereo, full instrument panel gauges with factory in-dash tach, shoulder belts, Cougar original floor mats, and a rare factory speed control.  Also, the interior includes two pairs of consoles.  The upper console consist of warning lights for the parking brake, door ajar, seat belt reminder, and low fuel--also, two map lights for the driver and passenger.  The lower console displays a clock, control switches for the electric sunroof and Lucas fog lamps.  It also contains a padded armrest atop of a storage compartment.

     The 390 CID 4V Marauder GT sits in the engine compartment.  Ford's chrome dressup kit compliments the area that includes the air cleaner, dip stick, oil filler cap, and radiator cap.  The Select-Shift Merc-O-Matic Transmission follows the engine toward the rear, with 2.75 highway cruising gears.  Both steering and brakes are power-operated--disc brakes in front.  On the exterior, this G has the original paint color, Black Cherry (maroon), with a black vinyl roof.
